He's a very similar type to Mark Williams so if there is some doubts on his fitness then it makes sense they might have some interest. I think a rookie list spot is the best we could offer him.

Don't Willi pay for a rookie for us(was it Rose this year). This would be the only way they could guarantee to keep him for next year.

        Would we even want Little?

Very good VFL player but IMO he doesn't have enough tricks to play consistently well at AFL level. Similar to Mark Williams as GVG said, but also Patrick Rose in the sense that he can only effectively play the one 'key' role.

I think he could be the 3rd tall forward in the right side.
He could be a viable back-up for Jones and Grant now that Hahn isn't on the list.

I would not mind him for this reason, would prefer to rookie him though.

Would we be re-drafting anyone after their axing. I.e. a wake up call. Perhaps the Bou?

                At a guess I wouldn't think so.

With Essendon having the jump on us in the rookie draft we would possibly miss him.
Its always a hard call if sides are prepared to wait to the rookie draft.

                    Re: Mock Draft Predictions

I've moved house over the w/e (very happy) but unfortunately no internet connected yet, so haven't been able to access the site. Below is my attempted mock first round from a week or so ago.

I'm also hopeful of putting up another 'Top 20' (based on how I rate the players, rather than where they'll go) at some stage tomorrow after finalising it tonight (hopefully!)

Getting excited about the draft, but a bit meh about the Thursday night concept.

                    1. GC - Swallow
                    2. GC - Bennell
                    3. GC - Day
                    4. WC - Darling - Having thought about it, I do like Darling here. Potentially the deeper, body forward who can also run further up field. Try to top up the mid stocks a little later.
                    5. Bris - Heppell - WC taking Darling opens the door and I can't see Brisbane going past Heppell who looks a class player and one who'll compliment their mix.
                    6. Rich - Gaff - With Polec still on the table it becomes a much harder choice, and given the loss of Tambling who plays 'outside' Polec could be a good option, but I think Gaff is slightly safer and will also do his best work outside.
                    7. GC - Lynch - Take the next best KP player here, setting them up for the long term and snaring a quality player.
                    8. Ess - Polec - Might not be a 'type' that they readily need, but a goal kicking midfielder who can run is always needed, and can't see him slipping any further.
                    9. GC - Gorringe - Take the ruck/forward here.
                    10. GC - Harper - He's one of my favourites, and I can see Clayton being interested. Plenty of upside and just an excitement machine.
                    11. GC - Watson - I have Watson or Smedts going here, and whilst I don't think Melbourne would look at Watson, GC to play it safe and get the man they really want.
                    12. Melb - McCarthy - After having a look at their list, they still lack a little KP depth, and McCarthy is potentially a tall guy who can play a range of roles which will appeal here.
                    13. GC - Smedts - Already got a few taller players, and now happy to grab the utility in Smedts who could play a range of roles.
                    14. Adel - Smith - Who knows what Rendell may do, but I'm huge on Smith and think he's a steal here.
                    15. Gee - Prestia - Continues to move up my rankings a bit, and I think Geelong will like the combination of inside/outside and the speed he offers. Small, but similar in skill sets to Ablett (not saying in quality) and hopeful of getting their next guy at 23.
                    16. Port - Atley - Given injury concerns over Hartlett and Gray, and Boak needing more support, I think they'll look at Atley here who has a bit of toe and could play mid or perhaps through the flanks. (Really considered Caddy here too, who I now have falling a little compared to my previous effort).
                    17. North - Pitt - Again considered Caddy, but after the type they've amassed over the past couple of years the selection of Pitt adds some more run and carry and kicking skill.
                    18. Carl - Mitchell - Henderson is 50/50 still for mine to make it, and there aren't a huge array of other tall forward options who fill anyone with much confidence, so think they'll take the punt on Mitchell here.
                    19. Hawks - Jacobs - Another player who I rate quite highly, good skills and a bit of toe, should add to their mix nicely and could long term take over from Hodge in creating from the backline.
                    20. Freo - Caddy - With Caddy still available here I think they'll pounce. Good inside type who should compliment Morabito and Hill nicely over the coming years.
                    21. Swans - Guthrie - Seems to suit their recent blueprint for 'type' and should be a good get here for the Swans. Could play a range of roles.
                    22. Dogs - Wallis
                    23. Gee - Tape - After going small early they jump on the key defender here who should become a good long term option. Could there be a tall forward on their wish list too perhaps?
                    24. St K - Lamb - Very happy to grab Lamb here and could easily go a bit earlier, but a great fit for the Saints.
                    25. BL - Young - After grabbing Heppell early, I think they look to sure up their run and grab Young here who is a dynamic player who could play a range of roles and can kick goals.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Here's Paul Daffey's Phantom. Didn't really give much inside info, but better then nothing I guess.
