    Roughy probably should come in to play as our 2nd ruck, but Cordy isn't ready and we should be focused on him getting ready to play next year.
    Yeah, that's all very true. I am going back to just calling it crazy! Even if we want to do it we have good opportunities coming up against Port and the Hawks.

      Against Nicnat/Cox we need at least one pure ruck man in Minson or Huddo.
      I think the best combo would be one of those two (i personally prefer Minson, but there is only so many changes you can make in a week) and Roughy with a minor role.
      Wouldn't mind seeing Cordy getting his first against Hawthorn/Port though. Other than Brogan, he isn't going to get physically beaten in those games compared to other rucks

          Well I am sick of waiting, lets see what they are made of. They play against men every week, what's the difference playing against 20 year old Nat.

          At least Roughead should be given a go.

            Just wondering if anyone went? Those VFL bests can askew reality a little bit. Was Ayce really in the bests? If so where did he play etc etc.

            Also interested in Panos's game.

              Cordy played mainly backline, when he had the ball he used it well. Needs a bit more bulk (for AFL).

              Roughy played mainly ruck/forward switching with Minno, we think Roughy was better than Min.

              Mulligan was fullback but wasn't impressed.

              I like Howard.

              Didn't see the last quarter though, I got cold! (I do an early Saturday morning Under 18's game and a midday Sunday under 14's so I am allowed to leave early, lol)

                Tutt was being talked up early on Twitter, did he go completely quiet in the second half?

                  That really is an extremely silly response to this matter..... And as a Bulldogs supporter you should be used to waiting.

                    I'm sorry but I haven't noticed Tutt before and I was a little distracted by the fact the he doesn't appear to have a neck and my son nicknamed him "tutt the turtle", it makes it hard to give you an honest opinion on his play.

                      Harvey = 75kg
                      Rounds = 75kg

                      Cox = 106kg
                      Roughead = 96kg
                      Cordy = 99kg

                      All weights taken off club websites. Spot the difference?

                      Besides that Cordy is getting injured every 2nd week in the "reserves".

                      I wouldn't play him (Cordy) this week. If he gets through this week perhaps but I'm really undecided about this.

                      We persisted with Tommy for years but he now seems to have confidence issues. Do we risk the same with Cordy?

                        I don't believe its silly, what is silly about it?

                        We have wrapped these guys in cotton wool and all they are getting is bruised and battered by VFL players. Why is that all the tall players over the years that we recruit never seem to be ready for AFL, yet other clubs play them so young. Jones has played every game this year which will do him a world of good for next. Ropughead had a few games but was poor (no poorer than Jones), and has now hit some form. Yes Cordy has had the injuries, but by all reports the last three weeks he has been in the bests.

                        There are only 5 games to go, I still say both Cordy and Roughead should be played.

                                I got my stat from Footywire which is probably from last year. The point is Jones is lighter than Cordy and he is playing with the big boys. Jones is only 20yrs old but in a few weeks time Cordy will be 21 and seems to be playing ok at Willi.
