Matthew Cravino. He's a small forward, who has dominated at the reserves level. Won the Todd Medal last year, which is the Liston equivalent at reserves level. Will go a fair way winning it again this season. He's the reserves Captain. He'd be about ~24 yo.

How did Frost go Greystache?
He is so skinny he got outpositioned and outmarked by a guy about 180cm in the 1st quarter, it was pretty woeful effort, but for most of the game he was solid enough. It was a pretty easy day in the office. North Ballarat were pretty small up forward and Frost and Mulligan frequently found themselves matched up on small guys.
For the most part he was James Mulligan-lite (literally and figuratively).
He's still young and very light. I wonder if he's a good enough mark (like Mulligan) but he's played 3-4 senior VFL games and will improve.

According to the Hun Barlow, Wallis, Tutt, Schofield and Cordy(I thought he had a broken hand). Gilbee, Dahlhaus, Grant and Liberatore will be put out to pasture.

Dam I thought Grant would have been a part of the finals campaign.

Veszpremi & Roughead are qualified.
Reid is over his suspension.
Gilbee and Dahlhaus are certainly qualified, don't understand why they wouldn't play.

Seagulls emphatically break Rooster Hoodoo
Williamstown has booked a spot in the VFL Preliminary Final by beating North Ballarat for the first time since 2008. After a slow start, the Gulls were too strong for the depleted Roosters running out 67 point winners at Box Hill City Oval. It was the speed of the Seagulls that really ruffled the Roosters feathers, breaking the lines and clinically moving the ball inside 50. On a day where there was plenty of Seagulls winners, stand in captain Ben Jolley stood tallest leading the way right from the opening bounce.
Recent meetings between these two teams have shown there is little between the pair, unfortunately for Williamstown they have been on the receiving end of some close losses in the past few years. A combined total of 15 points was all that separated the two teams from their two matches this season and it looked like another close match was to follow in a cagey opening quarter. Skill errors from both sides resulted in scrappy, nervous football, with neither team able to gain the momentum. Dane Rampe started the game very effectively on the dangerous Billy Driscoll, continually spoiling with great effect. A goal after the siren gave the Seagulls a slender 5 point lead at the first change with a lot of work to do.
The second quarter saw the game open up more with Williamstown prepared to back their skills and take the game on. Will Minson was giving his midfielders first use of the ball from the centre amassing an incredible 37 hitouts along with 35 possessions to be one of the standouts on the day. Brett Goodes coming up against his old side was influential in the clinches, winning the hard contested footy and providing a strong physical presence all day. Bulldogs rookie Matthew Panos was the benefit of this greater intensity up the ground as he scored three quarter goals to give the Gulls a 36 point lead late in the quarter. A poor turnover with only seconds remaining saw the Roosters kick a goal after the siren to bring the margin back to 30 points at the main change.
The first 10 minutes of the third quarter were going to be critical as the Roosters looked to force a way back into the game. When they kicked the first goal of the quarter the margin was back to 24 points with the next goal critical to proceedings. It was Williamstown who responded though lifting a gear through the likes of Lindsay Gilbee, Matthew Cravino and Ben Jolley as the Gulls outscored the Roosters 6 goals to 2 to take a 46 point lead into the last change.
Williamstown continued to look dangerous when the moved the ball quickly and with confidence allowing their forwards to work into space. Panos and Zephi Skinner each benefited from this with fourth quarter goals as the likes of Howard, Davies and Hill continued to penetrate the forward 50. With the game sewn up halfway through the last quarter the match petered out with Williamstown winning by 67 points to book a final against either Casey or Werribee in two weeks time.
