Going to be a great game next Sunday - can't wait.

Panos looks like a quality footballer. Surely he gets a promotion? Natural forward who leads well, marks well and kicks very well. However - he proved today his hands below his knees are also very good. He's more than a 'mark and kick' type player from what I saw today. Good signs.

Tutt and Howard both a class above. Tutt's pace was phenomenal - will be really important next week, whilst Howard's kicking was excellent.

Hill had a good second half and the Minson/Roughead combination was deadly.
I was watching it in the gym. Josh Hill had some good runs. Reid had a blinder, nice goal from almost 60 out. Nice bit of manscaping on the upper lip there Sam.

Does anyone really believe the 50m line at TEAC Oval is actually 50m from the goal? Given the regularity of goals being kicked from outside 50, often with ease, I have real doubts about it.

Was only watching it on the TV. But there seemed like a fair few other midfielders who were much better than him on both sides.

Yes! I wondered about that. They did seem to be going trough rather easily.

What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

Quite good. Worth having a look at.

He didn't really cope well with the amount of ball coming in early, but seemed to adapt to it as the game wore on and ended up playing pretty well.

                        We could do worse.

Just. Does get his hands on it often around a stoppage and will fire a handball out. However he has a fair way to go yet. For a first round selection I'm a bit nervous in what I'm seeing but don't want to judge him harshly one year in.

Noticed Travis Tuck mentioned in the best players. I kept a close eye on him today. Thought he did just OK in what was a very ordinary performance by the Tigers. He looks in great physical shape and would not be surprised to see someone pick him up deep or as a rookie. However, for a midfielder he doesn't move much quicker than a tractor in mud.

Minson and Goodes were the two standouts today. Minson played the first half with barely a rest. Come the last quarter and with the game wrapped up, he was rested for most of it.

Thought the same. He would be a handy pick-up for the right team.

On Wallis - he didn't have a great afternoon and yes it can be easy to judge - I'm hoping he becomes a Jobe Watson type for us. He also brings great team success - 2 grand finals in 2 years isn't bad form.

What I did notice from Wallis today was clean, fast hands in extremely messy congested situations.

What I think I'm trying to say is, he is a genius at disguising throws.

                                Good on him.
