Not sure why there is hate for Tutt. I think he showed some good signs and has been injured nearly most of the year. Howard I can see why.. But think Tutt will be good for us

The obvious tantaliser there are the picks GWS have at 12/13.

Seems like a good year to have picks in that range, and they probably are looking to offload them for something.

But do we have the cattle to take to market? I don't think so.
Can anyone come up with a scheme?

            Hell no for me.

6 should get us a gun. We have to remember four top ten probables are already taken out of our reach.

He means for 1, 2 or 3. So 6 plus a player they want?

Sounds like he wants to trade pick 6 for picks 12 & 13 to me.

That's what I thought he meant.
Hmmm... If we were to do that you'd want something more I think.

That pick 6 is pretty precious.

But as far as us offering a player/players to try for those picks?

The players who come to mind are Grant, Jones, Higgins, Roughhead, Wood, Williams.

                  They've all got obvious POTENTIAL.

But aren't gonna get a deal like that done.

The rest are too old, too young, father sons (who it would seem sacrilegious to trade at this stage) simply not good enough, or keepers.

                  The cupboards bare.

well to me that would be a stupid move.

GWS are willing to trade 3 for a good player, but who would we give up?

I don't think it's a dumb idea if we are very interested in a player like Stringer/Menzel at #6 and we are confident one of them will be there at around pick 12 or 13. Not to mention this draft is very even, I could think of 6 or 7 players that could all be worthy selections at pick 6.

                        Free agency picks

St kilda get 13 for Goddard

PA 30 an 31 for Chaplin and Pearce

                        Hawthorn 66 for Young

                        Melboune 49 for Moloney

                        WCE 62 for Q Lynch.

Reckon Hawks may feel hard done by. The other seem reasonable.

66 for Young? Not a fan but was a regular in the second best side!
He has got to be worth more than lynch.

Wow. How good to Port do out of it? They wouldn't have got anywhere near that on the trade center table. Hawthorn would be filthy!

Also makes me a little more pissy about Lake being traded out so quickly. That 2nd round pick didn't move that much.
