Not sure about both Stringer AND Menzel.

Would not the club be wise to with either and then get O'Rourke?

Two players with significant injury concerns is a bit much. It's such a critical draft for us.

From what Im told there isn't enough upside in Stringer to make him a pick 5 or 6 candidate but Im not that well informed.
Menzel sounds great and he and ORourke would be nice pick ups.

If we go Wines, I think we really need the other pick to be an outside running player with supreme foot skills which would be a McCRae type.

What type of player will Stringer be in the long run? Out of Menzel and Stringer, Menzel seems to be the guy I'd go for, but he also seems the one most likely to be more injury prone.

I'm thinking Stringer will be a utility, playing across half forward and through the middle. The list is desperate for someone with versatility and size to stretch teams in different areas of the ground throughout different stages of the game.

GWS have so many picks in the top ten, they will be ok to risk it taking either of these.

One or the other, it wouldn't bother me too much.

I went in to this draft period thinking we needed some outside polish in the midfield, and a medium sized forward/utility that can chip in through the midfield.

Stringer seems to fit the latter for mine, quite well in fact.

What's your thought on our priorities?

Interesting that you don't rate any KPP in the top 20 (not counting ruckman Grundy).

Gee Mayes and Griffen have similar builds at the same age.

Thanks Griff for taking the time to pull this together and for sticking your neck out.

Mayes in particular has attracted my attention for some time and will follow his path with interest. Think he will prove to be a very solid pick up for someone. Suspect we won't be using our pick 6 on him but wouldn't be distraught if we did go as low.

Same here. I doubt he is really a consideration for our 2 early picks but I will follow his progress over the next couple of years.

I quite like Kennedy. Speed and skill. Two things we need. Him and Dal up forward could run amok.

A really good player but I'm not sure he could be a full time midfielder and I think pick 6 is a bit early to grab him.

With out a doubt. I still see a lot of Tony McGuinness in him.
