    Wow.

Prudden playing reserves after being close to BOG in the previous game has to be a first for football.

I get Williamstown have their prioties...but he was a standout last week yet can't play ahead of at least Howard?

Can't wait for Footscray in the VFL

Can Hunter be under serious consideration for the ones yet?
Absolute disgrace ! Showing their true colours .

I think Roberts, Talia, and Hrovat are certainties for next week. Interesting to hear Roberts also did some rucking.

I wouldn't be opposed to Hunter playing, but we need to bear in mind he's very young and had a lot of physical development to go, at the moment he's getting by on smarts, but the exciting news is he looks a talent.

Excited to see what Talia and Hrovat are capable of. Very excited.

I would be happy if those first three played.

In coming weeks I think we should play Hunter and Prudden too.

I thought Hrovat was fairly solid without starring. He was played in the midfield with heavy rotation. He could come in this week but wouldn't be surprised if he was held back and given more time.

He's battling Markovic for a spot (Roberts probably ahead of Austin if he's pinch hitting int he ruck).

I do have respect for everything Markovic gives but Roberts' body-positioning at AFL level everytime I've seen him is excellent. I think we've grabbed a bargain here (being a PSD pick).

Yes and was a great day for it. Sat in front of some feral group of Dolphins supporters who was giving stick all day to our guys on the interchange, although I must say some of the barbs were pretty funny.

I was hoping against Frankston to see the cream rise and unfortunately my summation of the Bulldogs listed players on the day is that none dominated or showed the polish that I would've expected.

Saw enough to suggest that Roberts could be called up this week. Talia I would give another week or two at Willy. Was pleased to see Tutt continuing to run out the game and provide spread when the Dolphins were hitting back hard in the last. Hrovat also seemed to see out the 4 quarters without running out of legs. On the flip side, that Veszpremi continues to gasp for air at this level probably says enough about where he's at.

Look, he is still only young, but I was hoping to see him develop on last year, in particular with his ball use / polish to really damage the opposition. He is good in a tight stoppage contest to win his ball but from there is where he is letting himself down. He wasn't bad on the day but didn't shine as I'd hope he might start to.

Pretty good apparently. 29 touches while being heavily tagged according to the HUN.

Played primarily off a wing. G-Mo, based on how we're travelling many could be a chance. Personally, I don't think he's ready just yet. Would prefer to see him comfortable if not starting to dominate at the lower level (Willy snrs) before we promote him, not unlike what Dahl did a couple of years back. That is, he presents to the point you can no longer deny him a chance.

Yeah, fair enough. I think that's what we all want but it always seems there is no one trying to break down that door with brute force. Hopefully he'll continue to play good football at Willy.

I've never seen Hunter play and this is probably not a good comparison but a few said that Stringer was not ready before he was promoted to AFL level.
