There's a story in Unleashhed about the Port supporters bringing a coffin in a parade from the railway station into the ground to celebrate the fact they'd secured the premiership. In 1897. I'd love to have seen that.
Geez it'll be great to see Port and Willy play at Whitten oval against Footscray after nearly ninety years. I never thought I'd see the day.
