Yep. Great read BM. Very informative. Bont doesn't change stride or even seem to bend over to pick up the ball. He just scoops it up with his long arms.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Very positive reports, not really consistent with a 5 goal loss?
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

        Cheers BM.
Think bontempelli is probably closer than we all expected.

In fairness although a practice match, we are playing one of the best teams in the VFL.

Win or lose a practise match is really incidental when coaches are experimenting, players are not on the ground for long periods etc etc.

I admit the report is on the positive side, don't think it's excessive. The thing is it didn't seem like a 5 goal loss anyway, bad kicking hurt us. We should of been at least 2 or 3 goals up in the first half, rather than two goals down. We kicked about 8 behinds in the 2nd qtr. Geelong's forwards only really got on top of us late in the game and a couple of those goals were on the freakish side. I felt we had the better of them for the first 3 qtr's.

Great write up BM, many thanks.

Good to see the youngsters from the recent draft continuing to push their cases for selection.

Also very happy to read Redpath performed well down back. I've thought he's done OK down back when I've seen him - would be great if he can become an option for a key defensive post in the senior side. Would give us a lot more flexibility.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?
