Yes, he did. Spent a bit of time as a midfielder from what I could tell. He was solid in the first half.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Smith was our best. Higgens, Jones, Jong and Goodes were good. When the rain came it was nice to have the Pound or the stand to go to... a bit different to the old days!

Yeah i think that was the guy standing near me.. the only time he let up was to tell me what we needed to do.

But yeah, one thing i prefer at the local games is the guys that go off.

Higgins got a lot of it but turned it over with regularity.

Smith was best on ground - fantastic player.

Grant was disappointing. Kicked a couple, but effort was lackluster, often playing from behind. Jones was OK, got involved more in the second half but made some glaring errors.

I really liked Roberts' game, thought he was next best behind Smith. Reads the play well, spoils well, calm under pressure and uses it well. Very frustrating that we refuse to play him ahead of Austin.

Loved the local feel of the match today watching it on telly. Will have to in the future get to some games at the WO.

Went to the first half, and headed home to watch the second half (conditions got too cold and wet for me and my young bloke!)

Smith was head and shoulders our best.

Perhaps the conditions didn't suit but I was pretty disappointed with Grant. Higgins worked hard and got plenty of footy, but a player of his skill level missing 3 gettable shots was ordinary - and kicking them would have meant we had a stranglehold on the game early on.

We really missed the big advantage we usually have with Campbell. Unfortunate that circumstances meant he travelled with the seniors.
