Talked too soon, Chargers in front by a point after some exciting play and the ball is in their forward line. Should get home

Is Mccartin's goal kicking an issue?
        Thoughts on Toby Maclean ?

Good call GG. You could add Darcy Moore as well to that list albeit a father son selection.

I think all clubs would be keen to get him. A bit of practice and some work on his technique might be all that he needs.

Sorry but I didn't really look for McLean

A few minutes into the game and the Rebels are out by 3 goals. Jesse Palmer has all 3.
The Rebels are kicking to the scoring end and the breeze has gotten stronger

The Cannons get their first but are 4 goals down.

Good for him, not eligible for father son at Geelong either. Spewing i'm not there. He's been my smokey all year but he's not looking like a smokey anymore, I like him a lot. He's stringing good form together. Thanks G.

Jayden Foster with 6 more goals. He's doing his hardest to get drafted. 43 goals in under 3 months of TAC.

You'd have to think we'll be bidding for him.

Depends on the cost I guess.

He's very quick and for his size he makes a lot of tackles stick. His team mates seem to appreciate him as well and were often encouraging him.

After a great first quarter by the Rebels the Cannons kicked into gear and displayed their strength. Cavka was outstanding.

They are exceptionally tall side and fielded 3 players over 200cm which early on worked against them.

Thanks for the run down G. I don't think I've ever seen such a big side, Foster doesn't look as big as he is around those others. Any guesses on Cavka's likely draft position?

I saw Geelong got done by a point. How'd the game finish in terms of chances taken/not taken, lead changes etc.

Hard to say with Cavka, played well in the Carnival and put in a great effort today. He was still running hard at the end of the game. Terrific endurance.

The Falcons had it won and were 12 points up with 3 minutes left. The Chargers got a point and then a bit later a goal putting them just 5 points down. The ball was hacked out of the midfield at the centre square bounce with a mid air soccer kick that then resulted in another goal. 30 seconds later the siren went. The Falcons supporters were beside themselves. I wandered out of the ground at quarter time of the next game to stretch the legs and noticed Cordy walking towards me. You could just see the disappointment on his face.
