He has been in discussions with Melbourne for a number of weeks and has signed a 5 year deal.

The Brisbane Lions have appointed Ben Hudson as Defensive Skills and AFL Ruck Coach.

They should rookie list him as well just to keep the career going, 5 years after retiring

Isn't that footy club speak code for "Hands up who's interested!"

I know he has said no previously but surely they would be making a big offer to Mark Thompson.
There's no way Bomber would want to be a coaching director/assistant again. He looked utterly dis-interested last
year and there were reports of him turning up to training late and looking aloof. I think he's someone like Malthouse who needs to have reigns or he loses interest.

If they come at him with a Roos like deal do we really think he'll refuse?

Reunited with Gary Ablett and a side that you would expect to make finals and go up from there.

That's like winning the golden ticket.
