    Radio stations

Don't really listen to the radio that much when at home but when I'm driving I usually like to have Triple M on and also don't mind SEN 1116 although I don't listen to it much these days. Hardly listen to Nova, Mix etc.

What are some woofers top radio stations.

I listen to 774 in the morning, SEN after 12pm to 4pm (while I work it is on in the background, and hate OX so don't listen to him) and for music 3RRR, but prefer Pandora.

Just thinking after Mmm played nirvana for the 100 th time this week, that they never played their music back in the 90's .
It's interesting that only JJJ played Nirvana, Pearl Jam and the like, back in the 90's

Yep, pretty much. Find some time for Radio National in the afternoons too. Counterpoint with Amanda Vanstone is good. Sometimes I agree, sometimes not but its always interesting and to the point.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I listened to JJJ back in the early 90's .
Now I listen to either Gold or 774. ( the ageing process)
I mainly podcast SEN content( fair bit of drivel to sort through)

Vanstone's a strange one. When she's talking she's often very agreeable and or balanced, though when she's writing she finds it impossible to be so a lot of the time.

774 for me. I'm becoming an old grump.

I can't bring myself to listen to commercial radio. The ads are weird and they make me feel bad.
            TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Don't listen to radio much. When in the car, usually have the iPod connected. When I do have the radio on, usually Gold 104. I've always liked old music (although that seems to be anything prior to 2005 now!)

Yep. I was careful not to mention her written efforts. I like her on the wireless.

I try and listen to Philip Adams too but I'm usually ushering kids through teeth brushing, organising school things everyone suddenly remembers that need to be done by the next day and to bed and then staying in bed so I end up listening on the iPad.

Right now I'm listening to the BBC lradio steam of Kent v Australia. I guess that's Radio.

Heh! I was just going to say that I'm not given to making empty threats but I counted how many I just made.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one to flip back and forth between SEN and Radio National. Always fall asleep to Late Night Live and the radio generally burbles away all night. Often hear interesting stuff in the wee hours, like Life Matters and the arts show. But in daylight it's usually SEN in the background.

I can't listen to music any more. Too long in the industry I think.

I like inner sleeve on Radio National. Its on at 3pm most weekdays. They play good music.

When I had digital radio it was ABC Jazz or the Bluesy station.

I just can't stand Australian commercial radio. Drives me insane. nowadays it's SEN or 774 or i play a few cd's when in the car.

I like KB & patrick Smith. Thats a must on Mondays and Tuesdays, great debating.

Also Crunch Time but rarely get to hear it these days. Another good show is the Finey & Robert Shaw rap on Sundays.

Can't stand Casual Fridays with Harford, Richardson and Rita. Also dislike Fine's regular evening show. I think he works best when analysing a game rather than being a presenter. Is there anything more excruciating on sports radio than The Ox trying to be a hard hitting journalist or ask a deep and meaningful question? It puts me in road rage mode.
