    Re: Radio stations

Their ARL and AFL Grand Final broadcasts in the early '90s were funny. It was great just mute the TV and tune into JJJ to listen to Roy and HG call the game from a card table just inside the boundary line.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Was there one in the 80's where they called the game off the tv from Sydney including replays and kept their own score? Hawthorn won kicking 59 goals vs 40 or something ridiculous.

Against Melbourne in '88 maybe. Hawthorn won by 96 points.

The counting goals in the replays shtick was an interesting idea.

KB working fast. Whole station closes 1 day after he arrives.

That a real shame, they announced KB would be returning to the airwaves. I'll miss Roy and HG on Saturdays as well
I struggle to listen to Lyon and Watson in the morning so MSR was my back-up to RSN.

Hopefully Jimmy Bartel goes back to RSN one day a week in the footy season.

Is that where they went? Would be nice if they kept putting up podcasts.

Yeah me too. Although I quite like the Coodabeens and Hutchy's show on SEN so saturday mornings are busy.

Yeah, to tell you the truth, didn't listen in once, especially when I knew Marco and Ox were there.
