I just can't stand Australian commercial radio. Drives me insane. nowadays it's SEN or 774 or i play a few cd's when in the car.

I like KB & patrick Smith. Thats a must on Mondays and Tuesdays, great debating.

Also Crunch Time but rarely get to hear it these days. Another good show is the Finey & Robert Shaw rap on Sundays.

Can't stand Casual Fridays with Harford, Richardson and Rita. Also dislike Fine's regular evening show. I think he works best when analysing a game rather than being a presenter. Is there anything more excruciating on sports radio than The Ox trying to be a hard hitting journalist or ask a deep and meaningful question? It puts me in road rage mode.
I dont mind Hutchy and Doctor Turf and Leon on saturday mornings. I like that its on EVERY saturday morning and they just talk crap (sometimes informed crap!) about footy for a couple of hours.

Now that I think about it, with Punter to Punter, the 3aw brekky show he did and being on saturday mornings, I have woken up to Doctor Turf far too often!
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

3RRR in the mornings on the way to work, then 3RRR/ipod/flicking on the way home, unless it's Thursday evening, then it's PBS for "Fang It". And I listen to the Stupidly Small podcast most days at work.
Wake me up when we get to heaven, let me sleep if we're going to hell

Good luck, for your sake I hope heaven and hell are really there, but I wouldn't hold my breath

And we all found heaven - 2016 Premiers!

I don't listen to Harford except a few podcasts, and can't stand that moron Rita ( try hard journo)
Mark Fine's a self indulgent loud mouth ( well he follows stkilda)
SEN had the potential to be a really decent concept, but it's cheap and ordinary .
Somehow ( besides the footy) it doesn't cover sporting events

Wonder why SEN don't podcast that show ? They had a decent show with Sergio paradise, Scotty Cummings and Ralph Horowitz, but it disappeared .

I think that the show with paradise, Cummings and Ralph Horowitz was really good radio. No idea why it finished.

All the IP from Hutchy's show belongs to Croc Media-that's probably why SEN don't podcast it. Maybe Croc Media podcast it?

I'm surprised there's so much anti-Ox sentiment -- he seems pretty harmless? Heart seems to be in the right place… am I missing something?

I'm suprised too. Ox seems a genuine type. I think he even spent some time part time coaching at the bulldogs in the early Rocket days with marking and kicking techniques. Still, different strokes for different folks.

Yes I am with you. I don't listen to that show at all. Can't stand Richo and as for Rita, my god.

Can't stand radio comercials so it's triple J or much more likely podcasts. At the moment listening to old Roy and HG podcasts from when they were on Triple M. Also highly recomend the Bugle (John Oliver and Andy Zaltsman)

I have almost every copy of the Coodabeens from 1985 on audio cassette. If the actual tape stock hasn't degraded by now I might digitise them one day and put them up as podcasts. Surely the copyright has expired after 30 years?

I used to listen to Nova ages ago but not that much anymore. It's Triple M or SEN usually and very occasionally Triple J.

Danny from Droop Street. Peter from Peterborough. Digger. Ivan from Ivanhoe.

The Melbourne fan who was always calling for "more discipline, Tony." Or the one who always said "Maaaate."

Tony Leonard was the best straight man ever on the Coodabeens show. It lost a bit when he left.

Actually don't mind David Schwartz, but Mark Allen is an obnoxious pain in the arse.

Ahh two, I used to do the same thing !
I'd leave to attend the game and leave the stereo on with the cassette still recording.
The Coodabeens were terrific in the 80's, and Tony's talkback was hilarious

Tony is a very funny man ( classic dry humour) they lost a lot when Simon Whelan left as well.
Simon did a lot of the voices, and is now a judge
