White Stripes covering Jolene by Dolly Parton shows the lyrically darkness and pain.

Deanna Bond asked me for a cigarette one night at a Wreckery gig. I said no and got the "do you know who I am?" In response. I told her I was perfectly aware of who she was but she still wasn't getting a cigarette or anything else off me (I was an arrogant prick) because she wasn't Saskia Post. Her jaw almost hit the ground as I walked away or so one of my mates told me. My back was turned to her by that stage.
