My party trick is to walk into a friend's house or new acquaintance's house and grab 3 oranges or apples and start juggling. I did it last week.
Haha I love a good juggle but I'm strictly a 3 ball man, never tried more than that. I learnt as a teenager working in a pro shop on a golf course, juggled golf balls when it got quiet.

Got to try the 4 Comrade. If you can do 3 you can do 4. Just a bit of practice.

One shot's, for now, though there is a central campaign that at the moment means nothing to them. Its basically set in the campaign world me, my brother and best mate created 30 years ago when we were madly into D&D. I'm setting the kids 200/300 years into the future, with the original protagonists now the stuff of myth and legends and the world having taken a decided turn for the worst.

Its fun seeing my 3 emrabce to differing degrees the characters they play.....my youngest who's 7 has a tendency to want to lop the heads off every monster they meet whilst his sisters try to befriend them.......makes for some interesting results. I have an NPC who adventures with them who "guides" with helpful suggestions.

Honestly, when you add the Bulldogs to that list we could be bff's!
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

I love juggling too - a couple of years ago I bought clubs which is a fun trick to take to festivals. Take a lot more practice than just balls.

Good on you Mofra. Never tried the clubs. Bit too senior now to start. Have you set them on fire yet?

Sounds like a ton of fun for them.

                        Not intentionally.
They're only plastic, but I have seriously considered flammable ones. I have juggled hammers (barefoot) which is good for your reaction times, but they're weighted so differently to clubs that the swing is very different.

Got close to juggling four balls summer before last, issue was with the rhythm of the two ball throw on my left side. May have to start practicing again.

Impressive. There is only one word for 4 balls. Practice. I have to admit it is more relaxing with 3 as I still regularly drop them with 4. The hammers sound exciting. Looks great with the flammable ones at night.

What band man? I was a lighting engineer in and around Victoria, worked with pretty much any band you can name.

Re: Different or unusual hobbies you have

Given we're back in lockdown in Victoria I figured I'd reignite this thread. In all honesty I was in a complete bubble last year and for the first four or so months of this year due to COVID first and then seriously over the top work, but am out of that now.

Just cooked up my first winter warmer for the year today, and while to cook is not a different or unusual hobby it's not something I've been able to give a lot of thought to outside of the odd family occasion etc. This is what I just sampled this evening, in full knowledge it will be better once it's sat for 24 hours and reheated.

Add a modern-day twist to a classic bolognese with Tom Kerridge's exquisite beef ragout. Serve with hand-cut pappardelle pasta for a great dinner party dish

It was actually really good. I had it in the oven for longer than advised because I had a bit more beef and stock, plus the vegetables were a bit bigger than the usual. Won't ever be top notch restaurant quality, given I can't bring myself to use enough salt for that, but it was still excellent.
                                TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.
