The new keg put out is a great idea but it's a rip Off at $23 for the tap king, I think you have about 5 brews to choose from not sure how long the novelty will Last though.
I like the Pacific Ale but only one or two as they are really sweet.

I bought a keg of Golden Ale and was discounted on the tap etc. It's great pouring your own beer into a glass and I think this is where the attraction is. Also, the Golden Ale tasted 20% better out of the keg as opposed to a stubbie.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

I saw in Dan's the other day they had plenty of the first harvest.

The Mallee Bull (heavy) from the Mildura Brewery is in my top 5 favorites.

By the way woolworths has released a Dan Murphy app with which you take a photo of the label, of any wine and it gives you a write up on it, also has specials on it and a search mode, I took a photo of a coke zero label On a bottle got a hilarious write up, try it.

I love Stone & Wood! First had it at the Park hotel in Werribee and been looking out for it ever since. Went to Byron Bay for Splendour and lived off it there, it's not very strong though so I see it as a good way to relax rather than party. Other than that I rotate between Carlton Draught/Dry & Corona and I'm known for my love of Jager! Last uni party of the year tonight so they should go down well tonight if I can get these assignments done!

Whiskey (e.g Jim Beam or Jack Daniel's) and Coke Cola mixed together is a good combination.
Whiskey purists wouldn't agree (I do though!)

The best thing about ending the year on a high note, is the great offshoot threads it has inspired post season. First Arne and Sly, now this!!

I like most beer. I'm a simple guy.

I do go for coopers green, 150 lashes or the like most regularly. Recently moved offices from Brisbane CBD to Newstead where there's a bit of a micro-brewery scene forming which I've already been enjoying a great deal.

I don't mind some of the microbreweries, but I find plenty to be over-priced, poor quality beers. I think people are more enchanted with the idea — a little brewery up against the giants — rather than the actual beer.

Great call Snoop on the Weihenstephaner out of Bavaria, especially their hefeweissbiers.

Also like Leffe out of Belgium. Their newer 'Royale' at 7.5% alc. content is a great drop.

I've been getting into the James Squire range, 4 Wives, 150 lashes (I think) and the Golden Ale which is my favourite, incredibly smooth and a pleasant finish.

I can't stand the way James Squire have re-branded their beer, I just don't understand why they needed to re-brand?
