    Brilliantly funny.

I also love Russell Coyte all aussie adventures staring Glenn Robbins with Tom Glesiner as writer or creator.

Who did the mockumentry on the Sydney olympics?

"The Games"! None other than the brilliant John Clarke and Brian Dawe. Clever, topical, and above all funny, funny stuff. Still love watching the eps.

Yeah you should, if you enjoyed the games for the reasons you said, I'd find it highly surprising you would like Hollowmen. Extremely well done.

Working Dog productions normally do quality stuff.

I watch Dexter and will watch this season but I find it does have it's ups and downs. I loved the first season and John Lithgow made the fourth season amazing but I don't think the other seasons all reached the same heights. Dexter learning nothing from losing Rita about letting the police do their job (something it seems the TV writers have made a part of his character because he didn't seem so fixated on specific targets in the first season) really annoyed me.

An also a fan but did Dexter increasingly frustrating. Truly throughout the series he has become more and more human, he used to be motivated by putting away those the cops couldn't buy now he will screw over the cops for his own pleasure. I've really started to dislike him Alot of the time.

As for your SPOILER, I hate the way the story is headed with this Deborah and dexter love thing. Really hoping the writers don't do it, or kill it off within a couple of episodes because I can't see it being a remotely enjoyable part of the show. I hVe a horrible feeling this season is going to be all about internal conflict. Deborah is going to be torn between questions like "is what e is doing wrong", "should I help him", "should I arrest him", "do I love him", "does he love me" etc. this show could go downhill very quickly I'd they choose to focus on the wrong thing
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Agree. I've tried to watch The Sopranos a couple of times but for some reason I just cant get into it. I had a similiar experience with The Wire though. I watched the first episode a few times and wondered what all the fuss was about but then one cold wet day I sat down and forced myself to watch the first three eps and I was hooked

I'm watching the first series of The Newsroom now. Really enjoying it. That speech Jeff Williams makes about America 'not being great anymore' at the start of the first episode is so well written that I've watched it a few times.

BTW A few shows I missed on my first list:

                          Oz
                          The Shield
                          The Young Ones
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Twodogs you needed to watch The Shield before The Wire.

The Sheild was quality for 4 seasons (?) then went downhill very quickly.

It's a pity the way the Shield dropped off. Although personally I thought it was after season 5 though. That last line of season 5- "We're gonna find out who did this...and we're gonna kill 'em." promised so much for the next season, but 6 & 7 didnt really deliver.
