He's such a blockhead, being younger than a current player should make you feel younger not older.
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

      Wonderful observation.

I realised I was old when I bent down to pick something up and I thought I'd check to see if there was anything else I could pick up while I was down there

The fact that I work with a bunch of 20-somethings who weren't born until after I finished year 12 makes me feel old on a daily basis. Some of them weren't even born before Nirvana releaased "Nevermind'. Actually the fact that this album is now 23 years old and I so vividly remember the impact it had when it was released amazes me - it feels like 5 years ago.

On a slightly different tangent, does anyone remember that fantastic Tarantino-written film from the early 90's, True Romance', that starred Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper? Anyway Patricia Arquette was absolutely smoking hot and sexy as hell in that film - to see her star in that TV series Medium, looking like an old and frumpy housewife and completely devoid of sex appeal, really sheeted home the fact that I am older now.

I recall back in 1987 when it was '20 years ago today that Sgt Pepper taught the band to play' and thinking to my 14 year old self, how long ago that was...
With the 20th Anniversery of Kurt Cobain's death, I think wow 20 years have gone by, and it really doesn't seem that far away. And I wonder, are 14 year olds today thinking how long ago the release of Nevermind was, like I did with Sgt Pepper??

Now. I was checking how many games Bob will get to by the end of next season, and 22 gets him to 293 btw. I have thought of him as 'old', much older and wiser than myself. Saw his DOB. Turns out I'm older. Not sure how old that makes me feel internally other than old.

You're so cool..........you're so cool! You just brought back vivid memories of me watching that movie in a hotel room in Dublin, with an absolute stunner I'd met on the trip from Sweden, I feel old right now!
