Have we gotten that many belters coupled with tough conditions this innings, or has it once again come down to just not having level heads among our better bats?
    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Our batsman don't like adjusting their game and its one of the reasons why we don't tighten up when we are close to a break or after a wicket falls.

Full credit to England, they have bowled very well.

Will take a monumental rearguard performance to win this test match. Can't see it happening but if we can get a 150 to 200 lead it may well be a nervous chase for England. In saying that though this would require Neville to notch up, or go close to, a ton and have Starc and Hazelwood contribute around 30 runs each. Not out of the question, but highly unlikely. The forecast is for a mostly cloudy day with a top of 21c. Favourable to England's bowlers but, potentially, provides our bowlers with some assistance (if they can get their line and length right).

Geez I wish Starc could bowl like he does in the shorter format of the game.

Once again temperament and patience required and the Aussies aren't up to the challenge.

I've got to say that I'm not feeling overly confident.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Nice start 40 runs without another wicket in the first half hour. Long way to go but some good signs.

Leg side catch. Argh. Good innings though.

So why is it the tail can stand up, yet the batsmen can't handle the conditions ?
                        Pretty pathetic

With Clarke, Voges and M.Marsh all looking vulnerable and Rogers retiring at the end of the series, we are potentially looking at a dramatically different Top 6 come the summer. Warner and Smith are the only ones you could definitely pencil in and I'm not sure there's a heap of others putting their hands up.

Shaun Marsh will clearly get another chance but no-one else has been doing much at all at first-class level. Interesting days ahead.
