The way we are going we'll be 600 about 30 mins before tea with Khuwaja past 200 and Voges 100. That'll do nicely.

Declaration called at 4/556, Khawaja out for 174, Voges no 83.

Not sure why Smith didn't let Voges get his 100.

Elliott got 21 Tests despite averaging a paltry 33. He was given a lot more opportunity than he deserved.

Hodge should've played more cricket but timed his runs of poor form poorly and was shafted by Martyn being Ponting's best mate.

Or is this the tired old Victorians get persecuted cliché?
Interesting . Hodge should have played more, but wasn't Damian Martin?
Whom was Punters mate! History is littered with blokes whom don't get on, and if Jones was so hated why was he picked in the first place? I'll concede Elliott, but Jones didn't get on with the coach .
Cricket and personalities fitting in has been an issue since the day dot.
Shane Watson is the modern day example of being a good bloke and mates with Pup, and hence why he played more tests than form dictated .Marsh/ Lillee v Kim Hughes from the 80's and Katich v Clarke in the modern era.

Huh? Watson and Clarke didn't get on. Not many of my mates call me a 'cancer'

I think if there is any problem with your footwork most international attacks will expose abd exploit it ruthlessly. You can get away with playing with the bat away from the body in FC cricket and international White ball cricket but not test cricket.

I might be wrong. I certainly was about Matthew Hayden but I always thought Hodge was a little short of being a gun test match batsmen and did pretty well to achieve what he did.

Gee Kane Williamson is a good bat. Well done.

This could get messy for New Zealand. Southee hampered, Boult hasn't found his line, Craig is all over the shop and Neesham is expensive. Today should be a bit of fun

Press conferences I heard the Aussies are always pumping each other's tyres up.
Fair proportion of cricket fans think along the lines I do, but if some feel different then that's there perogotive
It's the only sport where a bloke is threatened for going out for dinner with his partner, and not staying behind and getting gassed

Probably not quick enough in our conditions . Is the second in Perth?

Warner plays great shots and scores pretty quickly when he isn't trying to smash the cover of every ball bowled to him.

Back to back 6's (in 3 balls) to get to 100. Amazing!! Great stuff Mr Burns.
