    3 down.

I've been really impressed with Nevill's glove work since he's come into the team. That was a ripping catch mostly due to good technique.

That's really the strength of this attack and having Siddle in it, so much value in having someone that you know what you'll get from them.

Four down and there isn't much to come.

Make it five! Terrible dismissal from McCullum. The coach should be raking him over some hot coals when he's out there with a bloke on debut
      Good call. Siddle strikes.

Isn't great to have a wicket keeper who is not a prima donna and just gets on with the job.

Hope Starc can stay on the park. This vein of form is great viewing.

It's interesting with Starc as he needs an operation on a floating bone in his ankle .
Not sure what the recuperation period is, but you'd imagine after this test he'll have the op.
With a tour to NZ surely C/A isn't going to let this linger

I can actually see this format evening things out for the bowlers a little bit, and it will be interesting to see how the powers that be can cope with prime time cricket scoring slower than day time cricket.

I've never had an issue with the histrionics of some wicket keepers, it's their job to keep the energy up in the field. I'm just happy to see a good glove man with a good technique behind the stumps. He looks the best keeper since Healy. Gilchrist picked himself because of his batting, and Haddin seemed to somehow pick himself, but neither was a good glove man, and Haddin was outright shit.

Hopefully Nevill can get side runs too.

Can't agree. Gilly was as good a keeper as Australia has had - up there with R Marsh - he kept to S Warne - no mean feat

Warne never rated Gilly though, always rated Healy way above. Then again, Warne and Gilly never got on. When Gilly was made vice captain, Warne famously fretted "why would they choose Richy Cunningham when they could have The Fonz."

I agree with Greystaches comments on Haddin. Ordinary, overrated keeper who seemed impervious to criticism as he was comfortably in the old boys club.

Giĺly was solid but no more. His batting made him a star, his keeping made him a borderline Shield player. Weighted average of his performance and he was a gun.

For Australia and if rated on glove work alone, Heals far >>>>>> than any keeper in my lifetime.
