4 sixes of the last over by Braithwaite is a fair effort.

The windies also won the women's and U19's trophies.

Whilst their test team is the doldrums they are certainly thriving in the short(est) form of the game. Let's hope this has a flow on effect to the longer form of the game.
Do they care about the longer forms of the game?

Having a game run and won in 3hrs seems to work well for the Windies as I don't see them fans of spending 5 days on the field.. Plus the big $$'s on offer in teh various world -wide comps makes it pretty attractive.

Nope. I wouldn't think so when they can earn a living playing T20 cricket. Probably should be in reference to the adminstrators in the West Indies do something about it - not sure what.

When your country's board pays you peanuts, it makes it hard to develop techniques to handle the long form of the game. Unfortunately for the likes of the Windies and Pakistan, their natural talent will never be fully harnessed in long form cricket because they are paid so poorly and resourced so poorly (with facilities, coaching, etc..) compared to the Aussies, India and England.

When a bloke with such a shocking one-dimensional batting technique like Johnson Charles can be a 2-time T20 world cup winner, it says a lot about the shorter format of the game.
