Yes. A few shaky moments when they wrestled back momentum and challenged us, but every time we found an anwser. That three that Patty Mills hit to seal the win late under immense pressure was amazing. He just finds another gear in the gold and green Patty.

24 points up against Serbia but we somehow snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Serbia are really good team but after doing all the hard work we should have been able to close out the game

Patty Mills scored 26 points and Giddey 25 points led the way.

Our care with the ball in the second half and OT was putrid, but the only reason this game was close was some ridiculous shooting from Mills (resting him with 4 minutes to go in the first half was inexplicable too). There’s a lot of nice pieces on the team but we badly need someone who can reliably create their own shot.

Felt like Giddey turned it over as many times as he scored. He?s like the Boomers version of Bailey Smith.

Goorjian has to go, mostly for that weird elbow but also because he can't coach.

We desperately need a second big man. Landale can actually play and I rate him, but with Reath and Kay as our backups we're severely lacking.

I'm convinced Reath has actually never actually played basketball.

I was amazed Serbia's coach was even older than Goorjian.

Hopefully Rocco Zikarsky will develop - 7'3" and 18 years old.

Also if they continue to insist on not only selecting in the squad but somehow actually giving court time to a guy who can’t shoot and can only dribble with one hand then they should take me instead of Delly next time.

Giddey is 21. He put everything into it. He really cares. He earns +$10m per year on his existing contract. He put his body on the line to represent his country. Yes he made some costly mistakes, but he also scored 25 points and made some clutch shots in that last quarter.

Yeah I'm totally fine with Giddey, probably guilty of trying to do too much - and he did make costly turnovers as a result I concede - but his trajectory is up and I have total faith in where he's going.
