Roman runs the club but the players have too much say.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Roman always backs the players over the manager, just the way it is. I guess you could say we purchase our success the same way as all big clubs do.

It seems pretty common in Football, especially English Football.

It's his prerogative. It's his club.

Yep. It the way he does things.

In saying that Conte has brought on a lot of this himself and isnt without some blame.

LOL so about a cm offside.

Right decision, Lamela gave it some extra theatrics which is disappointing but its still a pen.

Bit more than a cm but yea not much but it’s still there. My point is I wouldn’t have gone on about it if Moss had of called it but he didn’t the linesman overruled him instead of doing his own job.

I actually think it's the schedule that had Chelsea drop the games that and the fact there could very well be a sooky component with some of the players. I'd be sticking with the manager.

Just curious what has Conte done?

Don't get me wrong, I want Conte to stay until the end of the season(I'd love him to be that guy I knew last season and stay forever, but it seems he's dead). He's 100% certain to return back to Italy next season though, It'll be mutual between him and club. The players know this, anyone who watches us week in, week out knows this. He's not the maniac on the sidelines this season, he shows no emotion is just going through the motions.

It all started at the end of last season for me. Firing Costa by text message and blaming Matic for losing the FA cup final(why he quit us) was where it all started for me, both were hugely popular and important players at the club(Costa hated England but was prepared to play again for us this season) and replaced these guys with poorer footballers. Morata will be good with a bit more experience, but Bakayoko looks a donkey and how hes a nailed on starter I'll never know.

The treatment of Luiz by him has been disgusting. He was appointed by the playing group to talk to Conte about training and recovery which the group felt was affecting their performance. He responded by making an example of Luiz and dropping him from not just the 11 but the matchday squad for a number of weeks. He's now only a back up player.

3 Important and popular players he's burnt. I have know doubt this is affecting the group.

All he does is complain every media conference, these players aren't his, they aren't good enough to challenge, he needs new players etc. The players must love hearing this shit.

Wanted to sign Andy Carroll. Enough said.

Gary Cahill is finished as a top level footballer but he's made captain and is a nailed on starter. Every team attacks through him and it costs us goals and wins. I don't know how Conte doesn't see this, weird. We sold a better CB to Bournemouth(Ake) and loan one to Stoke(Zouma).

Our style of football. Geez I thought Joses was hard to watch but this is next level. Paul Roos and Ross Lyon would be proud. Playing with 5 defenders, 3 CMs and only 2 forwards. Can't imagine it's much fun for the players. We are setting up and playing like Stoke even at home against bottom teams. It's ridiculous.

After doing everything right last season, he's got it all wrong this one.

Good assessment Chef. I noticed that Conte was a bit more restrained (ie he spends more time in his technical area more than on the pitch!) this year. And bagging the players in public like that isn't on for any boss in any workplace. He complplains thayt he has lost the players but basically saying that they are all shit and he's not going to bother until he gets some new ones isn't going to win them over.

Maybe you'd like Arsene for the rest of the year? You can't fault him on is his enthusiasm and optimism. It gets on your nerves after a while,

TBH in hindsight the club and Conte should have gone their seperate ways last season when Conte wanted to leave.

Hopefully he gets to see out the season and can leave with his pride intact.

Haha, yeah Arsene would have been good 15 years ago.

Some talk we are both chasing Sarii from Napoli. He is a very good coach and the football his teams play is mouthwatering.
