Offside? You do understand how the offside rule works don't you? Oh, righto.

Is that directed at Lacazette who couldn’t stay on or the Linesman in the first half who butchered a certain Aubameyang goal?

Both. You'd reckon that Lacka would have figured out how to stay onside at least once out of those times. As for the first half either Aubameyang was on or Kane was offside with the easy header he missed. They should have been 23-1 up halfway through the second half but we could have snatched it in the last few minutes.

I hate that sit back style we used in the first half.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Aubameyang was on in the first half and the sit back style is the mistake we made it gives them too much control. It definitely makes them look better. Cech was brilliant and he deserved you to snatch it at the end.

I had to laugh seeing Lamela calling Wilshere a bitch when he got carded, does he even own a mirror?

Aubameyang needs a high tempo team and I don’t know if he will get it with Wenger. Which is a shame.

Just watched it . Spurs good value for the win, but nearly punished for not converting .
            Cech was outstanding

I hadn't even thought of that but you're right. My main concern with the sit back style is it basically concedes position to the opposition. The whole point is to win games and you do that by scoring more goals than the opposition and only one side is likely to score if you insist on playing the entire game 30 metres in front of the goal you are trying to defend. The other mob are happy to take it into their attacking zone so you don't need to as well. Try and get the ball into your attacking zone, that's the whole point.

Sit back is a lazy stratergy and it's just a dumb thing to do on a football field. I kind of understand why a shit team in bad form would do it so they can limit the damage. But we are a good team and we'd just won 5-1 six days before. Spurs hadn't changed their team from the week before. They went with the same eleven and we should have been running them off their feet and running with the ball at them at every opportunity not playing the game in the same 25 metres of territory. That was just dumb and played into their hands.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Great stuff Matty. Really hope him and Mooy continue their good form in the lead up to Russia.

Really difficult predicting who will fill the European places (besides Man City). It seems like each team will have a good little run and then falter to a lower team. Expect to see some niggle on the sidelines as well as mind games whenever the 2nd-6th teams play each other as the pressure builds in the remaining matches. Except for Poccettino who seems to be as cool as a cucumber.

Sturridge done his hammy with his first touch with West Brom. 31st time he has been injured since 2013.

Geez, he's had a rotten run with injury. With a decent run he could have been in the elite class.

I hadn't even noticed that Sante Carzola hasn't played for over a year now. He's had a really infected foot that has required 10 ops and a few skin grafts. He very nearly lost the foot at one stage. They had to graft a piece of tattooed skin onto his foot, give the bloody thing it's due because Sante bow has a tattooed foot.

I thought that at one stage but eventually worked out that he is made of balsa wood. Fair dinkum.

But his goals to games ratio is right up there, so you could say he might be the biggest what if out there. You have to feel for West Brom they have gambled on him keeping them up and it has just about blown up in their face.....but then again it’s Pardew.

                              Why tattooed skin?

One of the pieces of skin they grafted onto his foot was from a tattooed area of his arm.
