    The Steve Smith apology brigade are out in force after another One Day failure.

    Stoinis is looking really good in his defensive batting as well as his hitting. Gets into a noticeably good position in most cases when defending, today length variation hasn't troubled him.
    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

        Warner & Starc have struggled this series too

            I'm confident that after this we need to make sure Maxwell never plays for a while, nor does Tim Payne for letting the game fall between his fingers.


            Much like we did with Damien Martyn in 1994, we should absolve everyone with a profile coming in above them, and look for a scapegoat immediately.

                What did Maxwell get? I don't bother much with ODIs
                They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

                    Maxwell was on a hiding to nothing but I do think Carey is a better selection than Paine for white ball games.

                        The last one dayer was very similar in both innings as the ball got softer it created more problems, a pitch issue more than player failure I would think.
                        I agree Paine out and Carey in, Maxwell I would leave in, still got 34 in quick time, he is Australia's Jason Roy.
                        Personally I think the captaincy decisions played a big part, bad bowling changes and bad field placement at times.
                        Bring back the biff

                            When do you drop Warner and Smith who really let the side down in all ODI?

                                    I gathered that I'm no fan of Maxwell who just seems to put himself above the team in interviews I've listened to but he either needs to be told he isn't in the plans or given a few games to impress. Playing one game just isn't fair.

                                        The captaincy I think is an issue but I'm not sure Warner is the answer either
