It's too early to start a thread but what is your long range forecast for the likely team for 1st Ashes Test?

I think there is just the one position up for grabs and that is the opening spot alongside Khawaja. The rest of the lineup will remain as it was baring injury.

I don't think it can be Konstas unless he finds some amazing form to start the shield season. There are quite a few candidates and no stand out at this stage.

I agree Konstas needs to fine runs at Shield level.

I think ou have two spots up for grabs and whilst Khawaja will start the test series I am not convinced he will finish it in Sydney. Seems to have lost his mojo a bit and sure footwork and great judgement just aren't there.
