We just let one of the best players in the world waltz around three defenders and get a free header against a goalie that was in no man's land, he wasn't attacking the ball or guarding the line either.

To me that's the difference in class between this Socceroos team and the better nations like Denmark it's a long road back from here, it seems like more than a goal somehow.

Anyway during the parliamentary citizenship drama last year I checked out which countries I am eligible for citizenship with. Turns out that Denmark is one of them! C'mon Christian!

Good effort by the lads. Using the width of the park. Certainly playing towards our strengths which is our pace. Despite the early goal and a couple of chances for the Danes we are controlling the tempo and look threatening.

I reckon Timmy is cooked. Love him and we wouldn't even be here without his contributions in qualification, but he's played 65 minutes of football all year. He'll get a run against the short-arse Peruvian defence I reckon.

Leckie is a world class player - superb game. Arzani has the world at his feet.

Cahill is only good for 10 minutes at the end. Probably hasn't played mlre than a hour of football this year combined. He may have been planned to come in, but Nabbout going down forced us to pick someone fitter. Whether Jruic was the right choice i don't know, maybe someone pacier would have bren better but i don't rate Maclaren and Petratos isn't the right type.

Pleasing to see Rogic improve although i wish he pulled the trigger when he got that chance late.

Mooy outstanding despite being most at fault for the goal, Arzani super dangerous, Sainsbury and Milligan both good, Jedinak clutch, Behich relentless and Leckie an absolute beast and bog for mine.
