What a great result in Turin
    Against a very decent opponent

Why was cupping his ear an insult? Was he saying the home crowd had gone quiet all if a sudden? Well they had gone quiet and the reason they had gone quiet was the big problem not the fact that Mou was taunting them.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Apparently they’d been taunting him all game about Inter and his family

Italians are up there with the Russians as the worst fans in the world.

Relieved to get through with a fantastic late save from Allison.

                It was quite a save.

That’s what you pay the big bucks for and worth every cent, what a difference a world class keeper can make. Klopp was patient when Southampton didn’t want to sell Virgil we desperately needed a keeper and a strong Centre Back but he was patient and waited for them. He could’ve looked after his own job and threw money at Koulibaly or next best but he didn’t he waited and got both of them.

Let’s be honest if we kick straight we win 4 or 5-0 but in the end we could’ve been blown out. But we didn’t and this comp will rue this day and that save.

What were your thoughts on the Virgil tackle and card. We lose him for the first leg which is a massive loss so hopefully the draw is kind. My thoughts were it was a yellow just a huge punishment missing the next game.

The ball was kicked straight at Alissons chest, wasnt anything special.

Guarantee ya Mignolet or Karius would’ve found a way for that to go in.

Made himself big as they say, was a good piece of Goalkeeping that forced the "easy" save.

No doubt it was a good save, but really it was one that any decent keeper would make. It just wasn't anything special imo.

Quality goalkeeper should be saving that

My first inclination was that it was ok but when i saw it from another angle with sliding in, studs up, connected with the player.. yellow maybe red. To be honest, i'm not au fait with the exact interpretation. Just grateful that we didn't lose him so early in a big game.

Will definitely test us in the next match. fingers crossed Joe Gomez is back by then. Matip & Lovren pairing up just doesn't bear thinking about>
