Oh what a night! Spurs finally cast aside the Spursy demons that have dogged them and win their way through to the last four of he Champions League, beating City on away goals! AMAZING game
Wonderful to see Ajax going well .
The captain is 19 !
It's a real shame that he is no chance to finish his career with Ajax and one of the big clubs will just pick him off probably at the end of this season.
Imagine if he was the Bont and we were just sitting and waiting for him to get the tattslotto offer. It's the one thing that I really dislike about soccer-the rich get richer and the poor get the picture*. It takes a lot of the romance out of the game. Unless you can find your very own multi billionaire, but there are a finite amount of those.
*the bombs never hit you when you're down so low
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
Ajax showing the world that they belong in Europe they are one of the most successful clubs and going home for the second leg with an away goal to zip is priceless. Tottenham up against it Ajax are flying and I was glad Liverpool don’t meet them yet. We have business with Barcelona and can’t wait to meet our ex’s.
Great effort by Liverpool but hats off to Barca. They were clinical in front of goal.
I wonder if Lionel fancies a change of code? He is such a clinical finisher. That first goal-how on Earth did he know where to run so he was right at the drop of the ball after it thumped against the upright?
It's a not fair that one player is so much better than everyone else!

It doesn’t matter which code you play or where if you don’t take your chances then it’s bad football. Barcelona were at their best and absolutely ruthless at home. Liverpool were fantastic and really took it up to them, it’s the Klopp way. We should be going home 3-2 down and have them by the throat, just wasted so many chances and it’s a shame what a semi final it should’ve been. To see your team control Barcelona at times and at Camp NOU was brilliant but we missed Firmino up front so badly and I feel the result would’ve been completely different had he been fit.
Messi truly is the best, he has Ronaldo covered Without a doubt.
I’m looking forward to seeing the return leg. We are never out of it at Anfield. YNWA.
