It's a shame that we didn't but the bowlers now just need to do their job

Paine was a plumb LBW as you could get, it's just curious that he could get into that position

Disappointing Paine couldn't go on with it (like some of the others), but as captain, I expected him to at least get to 50 and more.

Good bowling, good batting - couldn't ask for a better contest today.

Australia just has to stick to what they're doing and the wickets will come. Really super bowling effort for little reward.

Got to admire India's resolve today. At 2 for 8, historically India would've folded. They ground it out, and played great tempo test cricket.
We're 2 wickets away from breaking it open, but have to get an early breakthrough if we're a chance to take a first innings lead.

Has there been any mention of the crowd in attendance today?
Probably the best stadium in Australia and two good test teams playing and yet the numbers aren't flash.

There is something either very wrong with test cricket at the moment or people just can't be arsed attending the game in the longer forms

Numbers in Adelaide were quite good though. I think it's teething problems with tickets prices, shade etc at the new ground.

Finch is that uncomfortable as an opening batsman. All at sea with the moving ball.

He has to gut it out, we are very reliant now on these two to get us off to a solid start As handy as the lead is it's not enough to lose wickets through poor effort

Well done to get through to Tea without losing a wicket. Need a big effort this session

He's a talented player but needs to find a way to eliminate easy outs

Jokes aside, how does Shaun Marsh keep getting test selections?
