On your side note my mate does. He has been telling me at every opportunity for over 12 months how good he is and how he will captain the national team one day.
More of an In Bruges guy?

We have a very good frontline attack for 3 quicks and spin bowler. Marsh will only get a long stint if we aren't getting wickets

We have a couple of tests against Sri Lanka coming up and it wouldn't surprise to see him named in a squad.
I think the selectors will try and fast track his development over the next 12 months

India won the toss and batted and look to have made the right call. The ball isn't doing much and while both Starc and Hazlewood are bowling well they're not really troubling the openers.

Think he'd need to do a bit to jump ahead of Pucovski who's back playing for Victoria.

Both have played 8 first class matches, Sangha has 408 runs at 31 with two hundreds. Pucovski has 588 runs at 49 with two hundreds.

It's early but this looks a pretty poor wicket. Fairly slow and low so there's not much there for the bowlers or stroke makers.

It's the first time in my life that I've seen the ball bounce twice (once on the pitch and once past the batsman, before it got to the 'keeper) twice in the first two overs of a test match.

The $7 the draw was paying yesterday is looking like a good bet.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Pucovski is an immense talent, lets hope he can get over his mental health challenges.

Cummins bowling very tight, not sure why he doesn’t get more overs

Marsh has done a decent job with the ball. Its good that he's been bowled a lot and that shares the workload a bit better.
India has been very methodical so far and are setting themselves up for a big score.

                        Disappointing pitch once again.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Despite the massive crowds the MCG test attracts everyone deserves a better track especially on day one

India are really trying to grind this out and possible wear down one of our bowlers before the next test.

Good to see Cummins get a few wickets.

Poor Lyon. He'd have 800 wickets already if keepers and fielders took simple chances. I don't know how he keeps toiling away.
