All hail Steve Smith. What a truly amazing talent we have in our batting line up. In just 4 innings he is the highest run scorer in test cricket in 2019.....with the Australian test Summer still to come. His knock today (yes he got lucky on 65 and the cricket Gods were smiling when he was out to a no ball) was superb. England simply don't know how to get him out for a sh*t score.

Best since Bradman. Comfortably.

As well as can be expected for a bunch of imbecilic delusional morons. About as reasonable a some Americans react when you suggest that they may want to leave their guns at home.

Having spent a lot of my life in the States, most reasonable Americans are as horrified by their gun culture as the rest of the world (and do not own a gun). The problem is when you have a population of 300 million and a constitution that encourages its citizens to "bear arms", the silent majority is easily drowned out by the gun toting nuffies.

Watching Steve Smith dominate the Poms gives you an insight into what it must have been like to watch Bradman dominate.

Completely shocked that Steve Smith seems to be saving us again. What a surprise........

I see some of the most toxic examples of what should be relatively objective commentary about this guy, I mean, people actually use the ball tampering episode to justify whether he is a good bat or otherwise. It's insane, no matter how you feel about those episodes he is a freaking gun.

Better than most before him, by a long stretch and proving it again.

I can't recall an Australian batsman in such a dominant level of form. He's just so determined to make runs
