That's true, I hate the championship though such a tough league. All big centre halves bashing and crashing ha, scrounging around to find a televised game bah.

BREAKING: Manchester United have announced Ralf Rangnick as their interim manager.

"Footscray people are incredible people; so humble. I'm just so happy - ecstatic"

Lascelles hip and shouldered someone in the head late and that wasn't given.

I think our defence is a massive issue, now without Lascelles and Ritchie for the Norwich game and it's a must win (5 yellows).

Eddie has a looooot of work to do. Thought Arsenal played pretty well and Aubemayang missed a sitter. Love Saka.
It was Tomiyasu with the handball.

Did you watch the game? When the commentators were assessing the penalty instead of calling Odergaard by name one of them said "he's been very lucky there, the Norwegian" It was an odd thing to say.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

That's him! Yes watched it, I kind of do recall that being of Norwegian decent it did pique my interest.
I don't recall the exact incident?

It was the penalty non-call in the first half. Oldegaard was the Arsenal player (the Norwegian) who grabbed Schar in the penalty area as the corner was taken.

                    Re: EPL 2021-2022 Season

I love the world game. It never fails to inspire me.

Why do I even pick a team - surely it's easier to be a floater / fair weather supporter!

Urgh. Red card after 9 minutes in a huge game for our survival chances just sums up everything it is to be NUFC fan !

I'm really proud of the effort though, but crikey how are Norwich in the same league as Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City.

                    They're god awful.

Must win against Burnley now with Leeds winning. Not sure what Howe has done to Shelvey but I've never seen the guy run so
                    much to defend.

Unless we do a FIFA (the game) and buy a team in the summer we are in dire straights. (pun intended!).

What do you reckon Granty will Newcastle stay up? Still plenty of time to turn it around but will get harder if you don’t start winning.

It's looking more and more unlikely Easty.

Really needed to beat fellow cellar dwellars as we have a really tough stretch coming up.

Burnley game on the weekend is a must win if we have any chance.

Will filthy rich owners, who is even gonna want to play for Newcastle if they’re in tier 2? Some lucky b graders might be in line for a nice pay day

Alot of the team we have now stayed when we went down last time.

We've been down twice recently and won the championship both times from memory..

It's a good point though. Not sure the new owners would be too happy with the situation.

Going to be a fascinating transfer window over January.

Yes sorry i meant which big kind of names will want to come assuming the new owners will throw money around. It’ll be a big hit to their plans. Will be a very interesting transfer window both mid season and end of.

Yes great call. Might be guys towards the end of their careers that still have some currency like Tony Kroos.
