Good win by Brentford over Arsenal. It will be interesting to see how a team with so many players with little EPL experience goes this season.
One of the more interesting clubs in the EPL with the way the recruit which provides a real contrast to the bigger clubs who tend to buy their results.

I read a book a while ago called Football Hackers which details the rise of analytics in soccer and it had some parts that focused on Matthew Benham and his ownership of Brentford. No surprise they had a win first up, he’s a genius.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

        Disaster for Arsenal, absolute disgraceful.
As for Brentford, they were relegated in 1947 and this is their first time in the main league. Supporters must be ecstatic.

I'm jumping on board the Bees. A good mate always played as them on FIFA, then eventually started actually following them, and last year we were all cheering on their promotion.

Great win first up. A classic Championship goal with the long throw.

I've been following them for a few seasons and just find the way they identify talented players that are undervalued in other leagues and eventually move them on for big dollars later on so interesting.
They upgraded their ground (70M) with the surplus of their trades.
It remains to be seen if they have enough depth to stay up.

Was a good win for the Bees first up. Arsenal are done as a big club for a while now, need new ownership and White isn't the answer to their defensive woes. How good is it to have crowds back.

On a Chelsea note, Lukaku back home can't wait for his debut in MD2

Huge win for Brentford. Good on them.

Big game for us Man Utd against Leeds at Old Trafford. Great to have our supporters be able to go to Old Trafford again. Interested to see how Jaden Sancho goes.

Will be interesting to see how they do things over there with the crowds which may be a clue of how we proceed with crowds for the AFL next year.

Great to see crowds back. Soccer really suffers in empty grounds.

What a buzz for the Bee's supporters.

Great start for Man Utd as we beat Leeds 5-1. Bruno Fernandes with a hattrick.

FrediKanoute and Topdog would have been happy with Spurs beating Man City. Did you go to the game Fredi?

Because I'm a complete pervert I'm watching Newcastle against Villa. I look forward to a few more hours of frustration.

We draw 1-1 against Southampton. Own Goal from Fred and Greenwood scored for us in the 2nd half.

Spurs beat Wolves 1-0. Looking at the stats Wolves very unlucky not to have got something from that game.

Chelsea beat Arsenal 2-0. Gunners have probably hit a new low.

Very loud the crowd watching the highlights of Leeds and Everton. The Leeds fans haven’t seen them in action in the EPL for a while.
