England are light years ahead of Australia when it comes to T20.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

You have to wonder why though?
We dropped Marsh last night to play the extra spin bowler in Agar who performed well with bat and ball but early wickets didn't help us and our 3 quicks went for plenty.

Losing Warner, Smith, Maxwell and Stoinis for bugger all didn't help but we were simply outclassed.

We've got plenty of big hitters, world class pace bowling and decent spinners but when we really get tested we've traditionally come up short.

They develop players specifically for it and have for years now, they put a big emphasis on analytics and have pioneered that field within T20 cricket. We’re amateurs in comparison.

            NZ thrashed India last night
India struggled to get to 110 and NZ got there with a bit more than 5 overs to spare and only 2 wickets down.

They're in fine form with bat and ball.

Good bounce back last night belting the hapless Bangas. Expected them to be much more competitive than they have been. Apparently they have nothing but slow and low pitches at home and struggle elsewhere as a result.

Fixed the run rate up, now just have to beat the struggling Windies and hope SA don't beat the Poms and improve their NRR above ours.

New Zealand through to the final with a close win against England.
                They've been very impressive.

New Zealand have transformed into a formidable cricketing country. Pretty impressive given the population size.

Just got up and checked the score.

I woke through the night to see that Starc had given away 15 runs in the 18th over and decided not to deprive myself of needed sleep with Paki looking at 190ish as a score.

Couldn't believe that they only managed 176 and went through the ball by ball to see that Cummins only conceded 3 runs in over 19.
While Wade turned the batting over 19 into the winning over, Cummins effort bowling the penultimate over was also enormous from those stats.

Terrific win, Pakistan were awesome but Wade and Stoinis got us over the line with an over to spare.

Big win in the T20 final mainly on the back of Mitch Marsh's and Dave Warners batting.
Hazelwood was terrific with the ball and Williamson needed to bat out the last few overs and they might have got a score closer to 200.
