I think we made the right call. But for the unnecessary mix up leading to Warner's run out, we would've been none for at stumps. The 4th day is set up for us. If we're a contending team, we grind England tomorrow

We may very well have, but we had the chance to have 16 overs at them with the conditions we would have wanted. Burns would have been crapping himself. We now have to consider how long do we need to bat for and make judgements on the weather.

With Green having an outstanding test with the ball and Lyon in strong form it's not like Starc, Richardson and Neser had been bowled into the ground.

This is hard to watch and frankly pathetic by Australia

            England have taken 3/10.

Perhaps the follow on should have been enforced

Was listening to the ABC around the close of the second session, and Kim Hughes is a complete fruit loop.

Nice to get the 3rd wicket but being a greedy bugger I wouldn't mind at least one more before stumps

There are some excellent commentators of cricket so I'm not sure why any of the various outlets have Kim on.

We ended up grabbing the 4th wicket with the last ball of the night.

We have them 4 for 82

The message has already hit the commentary, be ready for a bit of a COVID shit show.

My guess is we'll be lucky to have 1/2 capacity at the G for Boxing Day and Sydney, and will have travel restrictions on us all in the next few days.

Who would have thought that after nearly two years and with a high vaccine rate by world standards we would still have so many challenges to try and work through.
Half capacity is still impressive though.

There will be no reduction in crowds for the MCG test, Gov has already announced that. (yesterday)

We are heading for those familiar restrictions. Running riot in Europe. Netherlands has locked down over Christmas. UK pushing 100k a day fair amount is Omicron.
Early research saying 2 jabs ain't cutting it. I've just had the booster, hit me like a train this time.
                              New normal for a while.

                                Would be bad politically.
