It's a risk reward scenario isn't it? We would prefer openers to be a bit more selective and defensive minded to get us off to a good start but I guess we have to accept the ups and downs with Warner more than other players.

Nice to see Harris making some runs - now go on with it.

Unfortunately we lost both Harris and Labuschagne in quick succession.

We will need a big score from a couple of batsman now.

I say this a lot but how important is the first hour of the cricket today?
If we can get through that without losing a wicket we could be set-up for a decent score.

Big chance for Green today, he's been terrific with the ball and a real asset but he now has to make the most of his batting.

I don't think the poms have troubled us for one session have they.
Massive flop of a series unfortunately.

            Leach seriously... How!?

Edit : Broad is a gun, got his length right in this spell. Not sure how he hasn't played two tests. Crazy.

              Happy for Khawaja perform well.
Real shame for Green to go early again.

Need a rethink on Green. Needs to go back to Shield and find form for the future.

I don't think they will and it's always a challenge for young all rounders to get both aspects of them game working at the same time.
He's bowled very well, he's great in the field but his batting isn't working.

The selectors will stick with him if we keep winning.

                    Stoked for Ussie!

Starc with a no-ball wicket........shame. Would have wrapped the day up nicely.
                    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

This England top order is the worst I’ve ever seen. Stick to 100 ball cricket ya pommy flogs.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Then they lose another 2 for FA.

And now we have to put up with Scomo in the commentary box.

Scotty from Marketing shouldn't be calling cricket.

This is a very poor English side from a batting perspective. Is it worth even playing the 5th test?

Well we're just going to have to learn to live with him and open up the commentary.

I think it'll be good to have him there. He'll shake and bake things up and will look through the windscreen, no looking backwards. It's what Jen would want.

Good to see Stokes and Baristow trying to recover things.
