Would suggest roads for wickets is a BAD concern.......and possibly constant tinkering with the rules!
    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I thought the T20 gave a good balance of bat vs ball and last night we bowled brilliantly well. The weather might have played a part in the small crowd but I went and it wasn't that bad. If we can't draw a crowd move it elsewhere

There has to be a balance between batting and bowling, but it seems to favour batting. In the 80s, if you made 250 it was a decent score.

Overall though, I think people are sick of it as it has become boring. Originally it was something new, and a bit of fun, but now it is meaningless unless it is a world championship.

I'm definitely not sick of it. But people need razzle dazzle it seems and the 100 will become the norm soon.
End up with an over each the way we are heading.

I enjoy it, but can't sit there the whole day watching. I like it in spurts - usually the start and end if it is close

I don't find it boring because there is still a skill level required to bat, bowl and field through a 100 overs. To that end I find it far more comparable to a good day of test cricket. Test cricket can be very boring so I dont understand why an ODI is labeled as boring but those flat patches are accepted in test cricket. While 20/20 has appeal for families it is a poor version of cricket and will be full of unknowns and hard hitting shitty cricketers. I love test cricket but still like ODI and there is a place for it.

That's how I feel as well.

And I do get the 'it's boring when a game isn't competitive and meanders' argument, but...isn't that every sport? I switch off pretty quickly when a side hits 40 points up in a game of footy or if it's 3-0 at halftime in a game of soccer.

Think it was probably a bit of a missed opportunity to take the game to some regional areas and engage people that way.

Except of course if that football team is the Bulldogs as we all know a 7 goal lead is not enough!
