Yep, he's a gun. Think he'll find an extra yard of pace too.

Pretty disappointing performance with the bat this morning, game on.

After lunch on day 2 is the best time to be bowling. SA will need a couple of solid partnerships.

Warner goes for 3, Australia 2-9 need 25 more.

Is it time to drop Warner?

Funny thing is SA ranked number three in test rankings

It might have been an interesting chase if we had to reel in 80+

Pitch had to be rated as poor, bordering on dangerous. A fast bowler with a mean streak could cause some grievous bodily harm on a pitch like that.

The pitch was more lethal after lunch on day 2 once it dried out a bit.

Very poor pitch for a test match but it was magnified by the less than gritty approach by some of the batsman.

I didn't think it was too bad after day 1 as the movement off the seam wasn't too bad, but the bounce was really inconsistent today. Not what you'd expect for a Gabba day 2 wicket.
