I am a little disappointed with both bat and ball. Bowling last night when Stokes hit 3 x 6 and 1 x4 in one over was deplorable. Mate change it up stop delivering the exact same short ball down leg side one after the other.

Can we drop Green for Nesser? or not enough batting?
You might have been a bit closer here than expected, BAD!

A few rumours floating around that Green is sore and may miss with Marsh in. Marsh did an extended session yesterday and Green was absent. The other chatter is that it'll be Boland for Hazlewood and Murphy for Lyon.

that is classic selectors, trying to resuurect March's career. His batsmen who can bowl a bit, at best.

I would rather go with Nessar, and hope he gets 20-30 runs an innings.

I don't mind Marsh - he can hold up an end and bats ok. I get your point though it's not a bad one at all.

I also liked Shane Watson so take my opinion with a grain of salt!

Just proves that someone other than Shane Watson liked Shane Watson.

DRS was the worst possible innovation for Watson. He always thought it was his right to challenge his dismissal with no regard to the wasting of a review.

Haahaha gold BJ. I mean good post Bulldog Joe.

He was the worlds worst reviewer and got scared easily in the Castles of Durham (Chester Le Street)

Australia's world champion cricketers have been spooked by the legend of 700-year-old ghosts at their ancient Durham hotel, with all-rounder Shane Watson so rattled he slept on the floor of Brett Lee's room.

England aren't batting for long periods so I think 5 specialist bowlers is overkill.

Looks like it'll have some nip early and become a beautiful batting strip. It's hard and fast under that covering of grass.

Bit of rain forecast from Saturday onwards so important to dig in this first innings.

                                Wood is a handful.
