Another 5 over with Head batting could have given us a formidable lead. At the moment I'd have England in front and it really comes down to if Cummins can make inroads into the top order.

Conversely we would have had a formidable lead if we hadn't stuffed around bowling to their tail end too.

I think if we lose this game that'll be the reason why.

That being said, I don't think we'll lose.

        Love your optimism.
Personally don't see how we win.
Despite being 2up our bowlers seem spooked by the English approach.

That might be the first time that's ever been said to me.

I just don't rate their batters. I mean they've got good batters, but they're total flakes and I expect them to crumble every time they bat. I'm expecting the same again.

If we don't make an impact very quickly they will be well on the way.

England have a real chance to win this test match, they have 2 days to make 224 remainder to win. Lots of overs to get these runs.

I don't rate their batsmen, but its their chance to prove us all wrong. Time is on their side. The pitch has pockets of life where the ball has lept off a length ( the 2 woakes dismissals yesterday) so Aus just has to hit those lengths outside/on edge of off stump.

They actually don't need much time.

For them it will take less than 50 overs.

If we don't make some sort of inroad into the batting order within the first hour of play we are no chance.

This. Need to get fear into them ASAP. Or it’s over.

Nice ball from Marsh to get rid of Crawley. Green will struggle to get back in.

Unlike the Poms to get the benefit of beautiful sunny weather whilst batting......

Woakes and Wood ended up being great ins . Think they could change Bairstow for Foakes.
Not sure if Anderson comes in.
What changes will happen with Australia .. Cummings was pretty sure Warner won’t go so do they make any others ?
