Nice to see all these clubs starting to make transfers. I wonder who we have to dump just for the permission to keep playing.

One of the most talented players I’ve seen in a Wolves shirt but not exactly a team player. I’m sure he’ll work out fine for United.

                Thanks for posting.

I'd committed to a good night's sleep last night with a whatever will be will be attitude, but was woken up by nothing around 2:30am with an urge to flick the game on to see the rest of the second half.

In my fury at us letting Everton outdo us on our second biggest day of the year I'd forgotten just how Kieran our start to the season was, and the struggles we had in its lead up and all the way to mid-December.

                  Postecoglou sacked by Tottenham.

Ange Postecoglou is sacked as manager of English Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur, just two weeks after he delivered the north London club its first silverware in 17 years.

Finished fifth in his first season, behind MC, Arsenal, Villa and Liverpool, and in front of Chelsea, NUFC and MU. Where did they think they should have finished?

I get 17th in the EPL is shite, but fourth round in the FA Cup, semis in the Carabao and winning the Europa represent three great cup runs plus qualification for Champions League. That should surely justify a third season injuries or no injuries.

Not really passionate about it either way, outside of wondering who the **** do Tottenham think they are with respect to overall standings within English football. They're average as ****.

No surprise, 38 points is terminal.

Yeah, without context absolutely. But he won them a cup after finishing fifth. The way managers get churned in football really staggers me.

It genuinely stinks of pretending you can be perfect instead of just trying to be a bit better.

They must have Frank lined up. Feel sorry for Ange, desperately wanted him to succeed but at least now he doesn’t have to deal with Levy. Apparently Spurs are on the hook for about £4 million to Ange so I dare say he’ll be ok. Plus he should be able to pick up a good job in a good league (please not Saudi)

Absolutely, Ange is going to be fine. I just laugh at what Spurs think they are or should be.

If you guys had finished with 38 points after winning the League Cup do you think Howe would have survived?

The only surprise for me is that it took this long.

The resources at his disposal losing 21 games is the worst result of all the teams in the PL. The only reason they weren't relegated is the gap that has widened to the championship. Didn't even get the the 40 point old safety barrier.

Ange will be fine, be interesting to see where he lands.

I don't know. Probably not given the ignorance of our ownership, but that doesn't mean it's not retarded.

As I said, the cynicism in English football where perfection is sought after is ****en dumb. The guy delivered the first cup in a couple of decades and has demonstrated he can make the top five in a competition where eleven teams think they can make the top five, and eight have actual claims on it.

This is the perfect example of why oligarchs, billionaires and I'm sure sovereign state ownership of clubs is going to **** the clubs up. The cost of having to start again doesn't mean anything to these types of owners until they get bored. From mediocre and not winning a trophy for seventeen years, fifth year one, trophy the next......and then what for Tottenham. They're so ****ing average!!!!
