Chelsea unlucky not to equalilse. Bruno lucky to put us two ahead. Big hurdle for us cleared today. Massive game against Arsenal next week.

Note - just watching the after match review, very lucky VAR didn't result in a penalty to Chelsea against Bruno.
Yeah mate, frustrating loss for us for sure, giving up an early goal and then losing Jackson to a pretty petulant act costly. Thought we were really good in the 2nd half but just couldn't put it on the score sheet. We are slowly developing into a decent side but desperately need a quality ceter forward.

Still in our hands though so on we go.

Jackson is a prick! WTF was that, could've caved in Botman's skull.

BTW I'm not sure what the formation change was when James got the note - but it seemed to work. I need to watch it again to see exactly what was going on. A back 3 with 10 men is pretty fkn bold stuff. Awesome manager.

As soon as I see Cucurella playing I know we are safe (jkjk hes not bad).

Chelsea win that game a lot with how well you played. Tonali recruit of the season for us after his ban.

Yeah though he's made a few mistakes along the way I'm pretty happy with Maresca progress. All we can do is be patient atm, the most inexperienced manager with the youngest squad in the league so it'll take time.

He managed well in that 2nd half.

We have had the most draws - can't believe it is 14 draws and only 4 losses (Pool 3). The Championship was there for the taking

Yes - maybe just lacking that killer finish. Havertz isn't really a striker.

Damn right frustrating loss , really looked like Chelsea would solidify their CL spot but failed again , not helped at all with a foolish challenge by Jackson , but agree they really showed and given a bit more experiance they will be a darn good side , happy with the progress of the team under Maresca , i tend to foget sometimes how young that Chelsea side really is and young players tend to have the ups and downs untill the experiance kicks in .
I have fingers and toes crossed that we pick up a top striker , not a young and upcoming one who we have to wait for him to find his feet and start to preform , but one that hits the road running his 1st season (Victor Osimhen or Viktor Gyokeres) and produces a minimum 15 to 20 goals .
SIDE NOTE ; Mate no hard feelings about your comments re : Footscray vs Casey game , sorry if i came back at you to hard , wasnt my intention to offend .

                        Yeah no hard feelings dude.

Unfortunately I think the striker we buy will be Delap, talented lad but not the experienced guy we should be after.

Yeah your so right i think we do get Delap , but to me he would be ideal as a second option behind an experienced guy like Osimhen who has kicked goals steadily over a few years now , but if we do end up with Delap i sure do hope this year his 1st in premier league isnt a flash in the pan , like for instance i remember Andy Johnson (Crystal Palace, 2004-05) who netted 21 times for Palace to finish 2nd behind Thierry Henry for the golden boot , only for Palace to be relegated , Johnson came back to the premier league the next season with Everton and scored 11 goals and then drifted into oblivion .

Yeah although still deplorable losing at home to West Ham 2-0 who are about the same as us on the table. We have lost 9 times this season at Old Trafford.

Winning the Europa League would be great but our form in the EPL next season has to be dramatically better than what it has been. A big summer ahead for us.

Newcastle in the box seat now to qualify for the Champions league next season.

Chealsea beat Man United 1-0 . A bit strange Amorim played nearly a full strength side concidering this weeks Europa league game , and also concidering Man U have had their worst year in recent history , and the result wasnt going to help or hinder them.
I guess it just shows how badly every premier league side wants to beat Chelsea , you either love them or you hate them no inbetween .

Great game between Arsenal and NUFC. Arteta is the worst though. He's the epitome of everything that sucks arse about round ball people. ****en cockhead.

There's genuinely not a single thing good about the ****wit.
