6/197 approaching stumps - Broad just dismissed for 82. Queensland's tail has been as hard to dismiss recently as ours so a 1st innings lead is not a certainty by any stretch. The result will all hinge on Victoria's 2nd innings batting effort. Hopefully our top 6 can actually do the job that they are in the team for.

I'd still rather be in Victoria's position rather than Queenslands right now.

If Quiney fails again it is time to scrub his name off the list.

Anyone know what Wright's injury was, and the severity of it?

This match is still tracking to an outright result, and we're likely to need Wright if we find ourselves in a position where we have to bowl them out to win - ie if we don't bowl them out then they'll score enough to win.

Hopefully our top order can stand up to some swing bowling this time!

Andrew McDonal led the wickets for the Bushrangers with three but the pick of the bowlers was undoubtedly Damien Wright who limped off with a hamstring problem this morning. Hopefully for he and Victoria's sake it is not major.

Thanks I missed that update. Wright left the field mid-over, so I think we could be in a bit of trouble there.

cricket.com.au are reporting that he has suffered a hamstring strain and scans will determine the extent. One would think he will be unable to bowl in the 2nd innings.

                              0/93 after a 17 run over.

With no Wright you would think we will need to bat until at least Tea tomorrow and get a big lead to be sure of the result.

Hopes is also out for the match bowling wise too. 150 odd runs in front at tea and no wickets down yet.
