They have 3 pieces of the puzzle but will need to find some solid support who are willing to play for not much more than a great chance to win a championship.

You can't deny that James had the right to choose where he wanted to play, but the hubris of him thinking that he could do it the way he did it and not be hated in Cleveland is absurd. For someone so aware of his image he's really miscalculated this one, his reputation has taken a massive hit all over the country. Obviously the town's he spurned will be pissed but I can see him getting booed pretty much everywhere

Surely you can't be serious Top Dog?

I'm not a fan of Kobe by any means but his squad before Gasol in the 2006/07 season was pretty ordinary. Kobe, Odom, a very raw Bynum and then it gets pretty thin.

Compare that to "The King" I'll only list worthy notables.

        09/10.
James, Shaq, Mo Williams, Jamison, Varejao

        08/09
James, Mo Williams, Ilgauskas, Varejao, Ben Wallace

Both of Cleveland's teams were also pretty deep.

Throw Kobe on either of those squads in place of James and Cleveland have 2 titles. James had arguably one of the best rosters in the league last season and fell well short.

Well I'll only do it if they play the Heat. I should have elaborated a little more on that enormous statement.

I don't think it is actually possible to ever earn $96mil. At least he will be able to afford Yankee season tickets now. They go for about a million for 4 box seats.

As for his name, LeBron, is that American for FIGJAM?

It has a lot to do with the way they are worshipped by the media. They are treated like Gods so they think they are Gods.

                    Of course I am serious.

Clevelands roster is a trainwreck. Williams and Jamison are not pieces to any puzzle. They are just dreadful players who only perform when in meaningless games. Shaq is well past it and injured every 2nd game and Varejao is nothing more than a good hustler.

Their best player outside of James was Delonte but he is clearly a headcase.

Ben Wallace was finished 3 yeas ago.

Big Z was decent but got eaten up by better big men.

Throw Kobe and they probably do the same.

Lebron literally played by himself in the Eastern Conference Finals and still took it to 6 games. Was just absolutely immense in that series going 41-8-8 through the first 5 games of the series.

Mo Williams shot .333 in those 5 games. Varejao fouled out 3 times. Big Z battled hard and Wallace provided nothing on either end.

Meanwhile Kobe had Gasol, Bynum, Fisher and Odom giving him plenty of help and even Ariza chipping in.

Re: LeBron James makes his pick: He's going to Miami

I don't agree TopDog but I guess we see things differently. I'm not a fan of either Kobe or Lebron. I think both players try to do far to much and don't make the players around them better. Kobe's game has evolved though I guess that happens when you mature a little more but he still breaks out the forced offence when he gets frustrated. I still think Kobe V. 2010 would get a title with the Cleveland roster maybe a younger Kobe around the age of James now wouldn't.

Lebron is a different player but in the big time games he tries do to much and the team falls short. Unfortunately we'll never see if he evolves into a better team player because he took the easy way out.

I guess everyone is going to be a Miami fan now? I've always hated the fact that so many people would support Cleveland because they had LeBron, or the Lakers because of Kobe.

What if you supported Cleveland because of Mark Price, Brad Daugherty and Craig Ehlo? And then when Andre Miller was the only hope?

I think you'll find for every new Miami fan there's going to be some serious Miami haters.

Dude you are actually supporting his argument.
Take two #5's, Larry Bird & Lebron James, Now Lebron would wipe the floor with Bird in almost every individual category of the game. But what people like Bird, Magic, Kobe etc, do is bring their team into the game, make them do the right things at the right time and make them play far better then what they should be capable of playing.
Look at your above comment and you'll see what is wrong? Lebron 40pts, triple double, whatever? Whats the point when your team is struggling?? He should be setting Mo up so he can get better shots, be in Varejao's ear when the fouls are coming and directing Wallace on the court.
But I'm not a Lebron hater, He was between 22-24 yrs old when all of the above went on, better leadership will come. Kobe is in his thirties and just taking teams to titles (Shaq would have been Kobie's guidance during the earlier 3peat).

You clearly didn't watch the series. He played a perfect series and was a great leader. Mo Williams missed open shot after open shot and basically handed the Magic the series.

Yes he was 24 during that series where he refused to shake hands with the opposition.
