    Amazing stuff.
It was only Gilly's second Test match after displacing Healy (and he made a 50 on debut in Brisbane in the first Test) so his form going in was good.

That century was amazing and one of my favourite cricketing memories.

Big tick for the selectors with Hussey
He was lucky this morning, as plumb LBW as you'd ever see. No idea how Alem Dar could have not given it. If England had a referral left he would have been out for 80 odd, which is still a tick for the selectors.

Dar hit his hand as if to say he thought he hit it. Had England had a referral left he would have been out.

Perhaps the umpires need to be given two referrals each per innings as well?

Dar has had a blinder that Strauss LB was a great decision.

The game is swinging back again with a solid session by Strauss and Cook. Australian might find 200 a hard target on day 5.

Is there any danger Mitchell Johnson will do something right in this Test Match? He's bowled garbage, made a duck, and dropped Strauss. There must be something mentally wrong with him at the moment.

He has made '0' in 6 of his last 12 innings at test level.

                      Easy or hard catch?

North has probably just saved his spot with that wicket

Not a gimme, it was at mid off overhead, but should be caught at test level.

Having said that - we're looking good and our tails are up. They'll be tired. Hopefully we get a few out tonight (if we declare/lose one more...).

XD is doing OK at the crease.
This to a tee so far, Siddle along with perhaps Doherty were the only bowlers to trouble them in the first innings and it has carried into this innings. Hilf has looked a touch pedestrian, Siddle hasnt repeated the heroics but has still been the pick of the quicks and Johnson has continued with his terrible test match. Doherty is really only a darter of the ball and doesnt seem to be a match winner, even on a wearing track.

Looks a drawn match for mine, although not always confident with the Aussie 2nd dig.
Gee I'd be glad if they invented a Barmy Army mute button!
                              Seriously tedious those that lot.

Should have been taken at first grade level.
As they say "catches win matches" and the Aussies have now dropped three.
Johnson should not even be in the mix for the next test, and would want to do something at the Shield level to get his spot back.
