We're lucky to not be 5 down.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Lets hope these 2 put on a few because, what is it, North averages just 7 when he goes in before our total reaches 150.

Nah screw that, I hope he gets in soon and fails again.

This is a 450-500 runs first innings pitch, it may take a bit of slow spin early but its going to be a road for the first three days.

                  Australia all out 245

                  England 0/1

Can see the Poms leading by about 200 after the first dig. Going to have to get stuck in the second time round.

This already feels like an England win to me.

My gut feel is that this will be another draw unless England set a solid run rate after lunch tomorrow. England will need to amass a score over 550 to wreck the confidence on the Australians.

Has North just batted himself out of a test on his home track? I tend to think nothing short of 70 in the 2nd dig will save him.

Blimey that North shot was a Mark Waugh special!
Not good enough we need a more assertive 6 not a friggin one pace plodder.

I think our bowlers are not up to test cricket. I can't see us bowling out England twice in any of the tests this summer.

Would help them if we took every opportunity presented to us.

England could've been 3 down very early on, and then who knows.

How good are these 2 batting together, something like 500 runs together already.
Australia must be hating seeing these two together and its only the 3rd innings in the series.

Crap drop from Haddin. He got both gloves to it and wasn't even fully extended.

                                Just sloppy.

Here comes Marcus North. A couple of wickets will probably save his spot for the next Test
